Hair Salon Grows a Booking Engine
A women's hair salon with excellent in-chair results had an Instagram that didn't reflect its work. We rebuilt the content approach around transformations and turned the profile into a steady source of bookings.
1The Challenge
The salon's feed showed occasional phone snapshots with inconsistent lighting, while the strongest marketing asset — dramatic colour transformations happening daily — went uncaptured. New clients chose salons from Instagram, and this profile wasn't in the running.
2Our Approach
We set up a lightweight capture routine the stylists could run between clients: a fixed filming corner, good light, and a repeatable before/after shot list. Reels focused on transformations and technique moments, stories carried the daily salon atmosphere, and every format ended with a clear DM-to-book prompt. A monthly content calendar mapped seasonal peaks — weddings, holidays, back-to-school — so promotions landed when demand actually rises.
