Digital Marketing for Schools, Academies and Courses

Campaigns that reach parents at the right moment, and an enrolment funnel that follows every enquiry to a decision.

Enrolment is seasonal by nature: a short window in which parents make a decision that will shape a full year or more. In both the Arabic-speaking and Hebrew-speaking markets that decision is heavily influenced by reputation and by what other parents say, and advertising alone does not build that reputation. The recurring mistake is starting to market weeks too late, then competing for an audience that has already committed. At OBT we work across the whole year: content that builds trust in the quiet period, and concentrated campaigns when registration opens.

What makes this field hard

Everything rides on one season

If the registration period underperforms, the entire year is affected and there is no second chance until the next cycle. That forces planning to begin well before the season, not in its first week.

Parents decide, not students

Content that appeals to the student does not necessarily convince the parent who pays and evaluates. The message needs two tracks: one that attracts the student and one that reassures the parent about seriousness, outcomes and environment.

Enquiries go cold fast

Someone who fills in a form today may enrol elsewhere within days if nobody responds. A missing follow-up process wastes the most valuable thing the campaign produces.

How we work here

First we build the foundation: a clear enrolment page for each programme or course, with explicit information about content, age group, dates and how to register. The marketing team runs Meta and Google campaigns targeted at parents by area and interest, supported by short content filmed inside the institution showing the environment, the staff and the activities. The development team connects forms to a CRM or a simple tracking sheet, so the team knows who has been called back, who is waiting and who has decided. Content is produced in Arabic and Hebrew as needed, in the language parents actually use rather than the language of an official brochure.

Common questions

Common questions

How far before enrolment season should the campaign start?

The concentrated campaign usually starts several weeks before registration opens, but the real work begins much earlier with content that makes parents familiar with the institution. Anyone who waits for opening day starts from zero and pays more for the same reach. The best results come when the name is already known to parents before they see the first enrolment ad.

How do we reach parents in the Arabic-speaking community?

It starts with the platforms they actually use, mainly Facebook, Instagram and local WhatsApp groups, alongside Arabic search for the programme or subject. The language has to be natural Arabic rather than translated, and the images should come from inside the institution, because parents recognise stock photography immediately. Personal recommendation remains the strongest force, and the campaign's job is to support it rather than replace it.

Do open days and events still work?

Yes, and they remain among the most persuasive tools in this field because they turn interest into direct experience. But the value only materialises if the event is marketed in advance as an event in its own right, attendance is recorded, and everyone who came is followed up afterwards. An event without follow-up produces a pleasant day and a list of names nobody uses.

How do we measure whether a campaign worked?

The real measure is completed enrolments and the cost per enrolment, not the number of forms or likes. That is why we connect the form to a tracking path showing how many enquiries became actual registrations and which campaign they came from. That connection is what lets you move budget toward what works before the season ends.
